Sony introduces a powerful new addition to the Sony network camera lineup, the SNC-CS20 Network Camera. This compact camera has been specifically designed for security applications. It incorporates an advanced progressive scan CCD with ExwavePRO technology, providing extremely clear and detailed images for surveillance monitoring applications.
360-degree Endless Pan/Tilt/Zoom Capability: The SNC-RX550N has high speed 360 degree endless panning capability and a tilt range of 90 degree.
26X optical zoom (312X with digital zoom)
High Quality Images and High Sensitivity: Employing the latest 1/4 type Exwave HAD CCD for exceptional picture quality and with a minimum illumination level of 1.0 lx at F1.6, the camera captures high-contrast images even in low-light conditions.
Selectable JPEG, MPEG4 and H.264 Compression Formats
High Frame Rate: Maximum frame rate of 30fps in VGA (640 x 480) in both MPEG4 and JPEG formats.
Dual Codec (Dual Streaming) Capability: The SNC-RX550N is equipped with dual encoding capability that enables the camera to generate both MPEG4 and JPEG images simultaneously.
Image Stabilizer: Minimizes the appearance of shaky images caused by low-frequency vibration so that stable and sharp images are provided.
Day/Night Function: Provides optimized sensitivity in both day and night environments.
Anti-tampering Function: Incorporating a digital signature technology using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), the SNC-RX550N allows users to verify the origin of images and helps prevent tampering.
Intelligent Alarm Function: Intelligent Motion Detection-Unlike conventional motion detection which typically detects luminance level differences, the SNC-RX550N utilizes the last 15 frames to calculate motion detection information.
Intelligent Alarm Function: Intelligent Object Detection-The SNC-RX550N can detect objects that have been left in one place for a specified duration.
The SNC-RZ50N is the latest in a series of Sony network cameras that incorporates advanced image processing technology to provide three compression formats: JPEG, MPEG-4, and H.264. Users can choose any of the three compression formats to match the network environment and application requirements. Furthermore, with a newly developed "Dual Encoding Capability," the camera allows for simultaneous streaming in JPEG and MPEG-4, further expanding monitoring applications.
